Position Summary
Seeking an Emergency Medicine trained physician for community hospital in suburban Detroit starting July 1, 2022. The hospital is a teaching facility with multiple residencies and fellowship programs (Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopedic Surgery).
Job Description:
Full-time (Per Diem opportunities available)
Mix of Days & Nights, or Nocturnist Only
Full time - 144 hrs / month
Option for Independent Contractor status
Emergency Department Description:
45 ED beds; Level 3 trauma unit treating over 48K patients annually
Academic ED program with 18 ED residents
Advanced Practitioner (APP) support
Strong and supportive hospital leadership
Qualifications
MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
Interest in teaching residents & students
Michigan state license
