Position Summary
Seeking an Emergency Medicine trained Advanced Practice Practitioner (APP) (either Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for a community hospital in suburban Detroit starting July 1, 2022. The APP will work closely with the ED Physicians and Residents, Inhospital Physicians, and Hospital Administration.
The hospital is a teaching facility with multiple residencies and fellowship programs (Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopedic Surgery).
Job Description:
Full-time (Per Diem opportunities available)
8-10 hour shifts
Option for Independent Contractor status
Emergency Department Description:
45 ED beds; Level 3 trauma unit treating over 48K patients annually
Academic ED program with 18 ED residents
Strong and supportive hospital leadership
Qualifications
Board certified (PA or NP)
Experienced in Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting
Michigan state license
